Juniors
Junior Football is the next stage in a player’s development, providing boys and girls aged Under 11 to Under 15 with a more structured and competitive introduction to the game of football.
The Junior Program builds on the foundations learned in MiniRoos, with a focus on developing technical skills, teamwork, game awareness and confidence - while still keeping enjoyment and participation at the heart of everything we do. Our program welcomes players of all abilities and experience levels and aims to create a positive environment where young footballers can grow both on and off the pitch.
As a family-focused club, junior football is a vital part of Monash Wolves. Our Junior Club Football program typically includes one to two training sessions per week and one match each weekend, played in line with the rules, formats and regulations set by Football Victoria.
If you have any questions or would like more information about our Junior program, please contact: monashjc@gmail.com.
The 2026 Junior Co-ordinator is Belinda Musgrove. You can contact Belinda at monashjc@gmail.com.
Playing Kit (Uniform)Monash Soccer Club provides playing strips (tops) for all players at all age levels. As such, parents/guardians only need to purchase club shorts and club socks for players. These are available from the clubrooms.
TrainingTraining for the teams will be held on Tuesday evenings from 5:00pm to 6:00pm at Monash Reserve (our club rooms).
It is a requirement that all children are supervised by a parent or guardian.
Junior Competition games are played on Saturday mornings, with matches held at grounds across the Latrobe Valley. Game times generally run from 9:30am through to 2:30pm, depending on the age group and weekly schedule.
Games are hosted at a variety of venues throughout the Latrobe Valley, Wellington & East Gippsland areas. The competition operates on a rotating home and away format, meaning teams will play some matches at their home ground and others at different club venues across the region.
The Football Victoria Junior Competition introduces a more formal game environment, including official referees, linesman from Under 13 onwards, and recorded scores and ladders, helping players transition into the next stages of competitive football.
Parent/guardian volunteers on our clubs hosting weeks are greatly appreciated for roles such as helping in the canteen.
